Dr. Heather Rosen is a leading clinical psychologist and a globally recognized authority in the evaluation and treatment of eating disorders in adolescents and young adults. As a certified Family-Based Treatment (FBT) supervisor who trains mental health professionals worldwide, she brings a distinguished level of specialized expertise to her clients. Dr. Rosen’s therapeutic style is deeply collaborative and culturally sensitive, seamlessly blending top-tier medical center experience from Stanford and Mount Sinai with an authentic, compassionate approach. By integrating evidence-based frameworks—including FBT, EFFT, CBT, and DBT—she provides families and young adults with the concrete, practical tools needed to achieve lasting recovery.
Dr. Rosen earned her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C., before completing her doctoral internship and postdoctoral fellowship at the Stanford University School of Medicine. Throughout her career, she has held prestigious academic and clinical positions at major medical centers, including Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital and Seattle Children’s Hospital. Most recently, she served as an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Mount Sinai’s Center of Excellence for Eating and Weight Disorders.
