Megan Sedita, PsyD

Dr. Megan Sedita is dedicated to offering a warm, genuine, and compassionate space where you can feel heard and supported. She views the therapeutic process as a collaborative partnership, shaped around your goals and experiences. With her background in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based interventions, Dr. Sedita tailors treatment to the unique needs of each client. She works collaboratively to build coping skills, increase self-awareness, and foster meaningful growth and change.

Dr. Sedita earned her PsyD in Clinical Psychology from William Paterson University in New Jersey. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at the VA Hudson Valley, providing individual and group therapy to Veterans in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Much of her work focused on treating Veterans with PTSD and related mental health concerns. Prior to her internship, Dr. Sedita trained in a range of settings, including an inpatient hospital and private practice, where she worked with adolescents and adults facing a variety of psychological concerns. Her clinical experience includes treating anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, and personality disorders through her integrative approach.
