About the Group
The group is a supportive space for children ages 8 to 11 who are affected by divorce. Divorce can be a confusing and emotional experience for children, and sessions give them a place to express their feelings, connect with other kids in a similar situation, and learn ways to cope with the changes it can bring.
Sessions include games, art projects, and discussions. Children share about their own experiences only if they feel comfortable doing so.
For Parents
Going through a divorce can be draining for parents too. Taking time for your own well-being matters for you, and it can also show your child healthy ways to cope.
