Why A Divorce Support Group?
Divorce can be a confusing and difficult time for children. Our support group offers a unique and effective way for them to process their emotions and build resilience.
- Emotional Expression: Art provides a natural and safe outlet for children to express complex feelings they might not have the words for.
- Peer Support: Connecting with other children in similar situations helps reduce feelings of isolation and shows them they are not alone.
- Coping Skills: Group members will learn healthy coping strategies to manage stress, sadness, and anger in a constructive way.
- Build Confidence: By sharing their experiences and creating art in a non-judgmental space, children can build self-esteem and confidence.
