Living with OCD can be exhausting. Fighting intrusive thoughts and resisting compulsions takes a massive toll on your mental energy, and it is often hard for people without OCD to truly understand what you're going through. This group offers a calm, judgment-free space to connect with other adults who actually get it. Come share your experiences, talk through ERP challenges, celebrate your wins, and find strength in a community that understands the reality of living with OCD.
Is This Group For You?
This group is designed for adults (18+) navigating the daily realities of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder. It might be a good fit if you are:
- Feeling isolated in your diagnosis: Struggling to explain intrusive thoughts or compulsions to friends and family who tell you to "just stop worrying."
- Navigating treatment or ERP: Currently doing, or have previously completed, Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) therapy and want a peer space to reinforce your progress.
- Exhausted by intrusive thoughts: Feeling drained by mental rituals, rumination, or the physical effort it takes to resist compulsions throughout the day.
- Carrying shame or guilt: Holding back from talking about taboo, distressing, or taboo-type obsessions out of fear that others will judge or misinterpret you.
- Seeking a grounded community: Looking for a confidential space where you can speak openly without having to explain basic OCD concepts.
