All relationships experience periods of friction, disconnection, or gridlock. Couples therapy at PPG is not about assigning blame or picking sides; it is a structured, collaborative space designed to help you and your partner understand your dynamic, break destructive cycles, and find your way back to one another.
Whether you are navigating a major life transition, struggling to rebuild trust after a betrayal, or simply feeling like you are having the exact same argument over and over again, our goal is to give you the practical tools needed to communicate effectively, resolve conflict, and deepen your connection.

How We Work
The Gottman Method & Evidence-Based Care
We rely on proven, research-backed modalities, prominently featuring the Gottman Method. Instead of relying on guesswork, we use structured assessments to identify the specific strengths and vulnerabilities in your relationship. This allows us to target exactly where your communication is breaking down and introduce actionable strategies to repair it.
Interrupting Destructive Patterns
Many couples find themselves stuck in recurring, exhausting loops of conflict. We help you identify and interrupt harmful interaction styles in real time. You will learn how to express your needs clearly without criticizing, and how to actively listen so your partner feels genuinely heard and understood.
Rebuilding Secure Attachment
Using principles from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), we look beneath the surface of the daily arguments. By identifying the underlying emotional needs and vulnerabilities that drive your conflict, we help you replace insecurity and distance with a renewed sense of safety, empathy, and mutual respect.
Seamless Support for Complex Needs
Relationship challenges rarely happen in a vacuum. Often, the friction within a partnership is compounded by individual struggles, such as untreated anxiety, adult ADHD, or a history of trauma.
Because PPG is a multidisciplinary group practice, your care doesn't have to be fragmented. If one or both partners decide that concurrent individual therapy would be beneficial, we have a diverse team of specialized clinicians right down the hall. With your permission, your couples therapist and individual therapists can consult behind the scenes, ensuring that your personal growth and relationship goals are deeply aligned.
